With the setting Sun, the many jagged peaks of the Jura mountains can by seen in the shadow cast on the basaltic plain of Sinus Iridum. The three largest craters, all of similar size, are from left to right Sharp (40 km), Harpalus (39 km) and Bianchini (38 km). The very tip of Promontorium Laplace can be seen as a white pinnacle in the darkness to the RHS.
