Fra Mauro (95 km) is a ancient dark crater remanent with a complex flooded floor. The shallow crater is bisected by a long system of rills. The craterlet in the very centre, Fra Mauro E, is 4 km in diameter. Apollo 14 landed in a hilly region just North of Fra Mauro. Just at sunset, this is a testing crater to image due to its dark floor, requiring the camera gain to be pushed for an adequately short exposure.
