VTM C5 | Rukl-18
J. Herschel (165 km) is a large walled plain situated on the North "shore" of Mare Frigoris. Named after John Herschel. As the oblique illumination reveals, the crater floor is pitted with many small craters. Anaximander (68 km), the crater just North of J. Herschel is heavily eroded and is cloaked in darkness in this image. The double crater on the South edge of J. Herschel is Horrebow (24 km) and Horrebow A (25 km).
